the oregon coast

After Easter weekend we went to visit the Oregon Coast and spend some much needed time with friends.  The weather was fabulous, the wine was flowing, and the kids had a great time (as usual) digging in sand and checking out the tide pools.  We even did a sunset hike with all the kiddos!  It's nice being at a point with the kids where we can have fun family adventures and not have too much baby drama. (not like two years ago when we were there!)

Here is Josephine running down the sand dunes and totally biffing it at the end.  She had a smile on her face the whole way though, which totally makes us believe she's ready for skiing this coming winter!
