1900 miles!

Our main destination was South Lake Tahoe to spend time with my mom's side of the family.  But we also saw friends and family in Ridgefield, WA, San Francisco, and Corvallis, OR.  We saw some beautiful sites along the way including Crater Lake, Eagle Lake (CA), the Redwoods, and the CA and OR coasts.

When we got to Crater Lake, there was still tons of snow on the ground.  Matt got very excited looking at all the slopes he could ski.  While Josephine nursed at a look-out on the west side of the lake, Matt took out his ski gear and climbing skins, and hiked up a slope to ski.  While we were waiting for him to come down, I noticed several people in the parking lot facing away from the lake.  They were all watching Matt and wondering what this crazy guy was doing!  He definitely enjoyed the sunny hike and the about 30-second ski down.  Here's some video.  Please excuse the baby talk narration...I obviously had too little adult interaction prior to this.

...and she's sleeping again.
